Eu nunca fui de expor nossas dores aqui.
Mas hoje eu preciso tentar. Meu filho convive com dermatite atópica crônica desde que nasceu. Não é “uma alergiazinha”. É dor, feridas, pele machucada, sangramento de tanto coçar, noites sem dormir e um sofrimento diário que acompanha ele há anos. Tem dias que ele chora de desespero por não conseguir parar de se coçar. Pra manter a pele minimamente controlada, usamos cerca de 2 potes de CeraVe 473ml POR SEMANA. E mesmo assim, em muitas crises, precisamos recorrer aos hidratantes calmantes e especiais, que custam ainda mais caro. Além disso, o uso excessivo de corticoides ao longo da vida trouxe consequências pesadas: meu filho desenvolveu catarata. Já passou por cirurgia em um olho e agora vai operar o outro. São remédios, colírios, consultas, tratamentos… e tudo vai acumulando. Eu não estou fazendo esse post pra pedir dinheiro.
De verdade. Só queria pedir que vocês me ajudassem marcando a @CeraVeBrasil e @cerave , compartilhando e comentando nesse post. Talvez, com alcance, eles enxerguem a história do meu filho e possam ajudar com os hidratantes que são essenciais pra qualidade de vida dele. Já tentamos contato antes, mas o processo era tão difícil que acabamos desistindo no meio do caminho. Então hoje estou apelando pra internet.
Pra empatia.
Pra humanidade. Porque às vezes o que parece “só um creme” pra algumas pessoas… é o que permite que meu filho consiga dormir sem dor. Se puder compartilhar, eu vou ser eternamente grata. 🤍

Today, we are once again witnessing the reckless abuse of @policenh powers against social media users in Nigeria. What is even more disturbing is how some Nigerian celebrities now appear more eager than politicians and security agencies to throw largely poor young Nigerians into prison under the guise of “cybercrime,” simply because of internet banter or comments they dislike. I have read reports about singers like @Simi and @AdekunleGold allegedly using the police against critics online, and now similar allegations involving @ayrastarr and others keep surfacing. Meanwhile, these same celebrities sit comfortably among international stars abroad demanding respect and award for creative freedom and artistic expression, yet many of those global celebrities would never (and functioning systems) won’t let them weaponize the police, corrupt prosecutors, or compromised court judges against ordinary citizens over free speech or online commentary. This growing culture of criminalizing speech, jokes, criticism, trolling, and online banter is dangerous to democracy and fundamentally incompatible with freedom of expression. The real shame belongs to the irresponsible Nigeria Police Force @PoliceNG and sections of the justice system that continue enabling these abuses instead of protecting citizens’ rights. The police must stop acting as private enforcers for the rich, connected and powerful. Nigerians cannot continue to be shipped to prison because influential people are offended online. #RevolutionNow

Update on my Neighbor!!! So you guys remember when I said the man slept with the pregnant lady in a hotel and his wife was calling him to come home? Well, it turns out he didn’t even sleep there. He was at another woman’s house 🙂 Now this evening, our landlord, who hasn’t been around since this whole saga started came back. He called a meeting and told them to explain everything that led to this situation or they should be ready to vacate the house. That’s when the real gist started flying. The wife said the pregnant lady should leave her house and go somewhere else. Then the pregnant lady dropped her own version. She said that night, the man only booked a hotel room for her and left. He didn’t sleep there. The landlord asked the man where he slept and he said a friend’s house. Next thing, this babe brought out evidence sharp sharp 😭 She said she noticed a particular number calling him while they were on their way to the hotel. So after he dropped her off, she called the number and a woman picked. She then checked Truecaller, searched the name on Facebook and even saved the picture. At this point, the landlord said she should show proof. Omo, the moment the wife saw the picture, she broke down completely. Because the friend he claimed he stayed with is a girl living inside our estate 😂💔but her street is not so far from ours. The wife has cried her eyes out today. I’ll keep you all updated 😂
