maybe someone nominating your maps or your friends' your family's maps isn't all that makes a bn great and maybe bns that still make mistakes after mistakes with warnings already issued deserve to be kicked just a thought

@Camocratic @NeKroMan4ik_ @sotarks yes, but the current standard is too strict vetoing maps like sidetracked day etc. is wrong, players and mappers want to see maps like that ranked I'd say at many people prefer simple pp maps over "high quality" maps that was shoved to your throat like few years ago

@Hashihime_web @NeKroMan4ik_ @sotarks most if not all vetoes are subjective yes, but that wasn't the point the point is that vetoes shouldn't exist in the first place because they're subjective... just because majority of bng and nat don't agree with a map getting ranked it doesn't mean it shouldn't get ranked

@sotarks except it's not. I assure you even if malphs was only nominating commonly accepted maps, yet still had as many dqs/vetoes as he did, he would get kicked anyway

I barely touch the game anymore but when I do there's always someone complaining about pp maps can people stop caring so much about what gets ranked. apparently some people don't have very eventful lives they have to ruin it for others... it's a game ffs 😭

how about mappers work on ranking more songs that target a wider audience. look at this shit, i dont know what any of these songs are. > 95% mappers genuinely have the worst music taste too theres 3 drake songs in ranked yet hes approaching 100b streams

it pains me to see ranked maps nowadays that have been ranked for 1-2 weeks already and not even have 50 scores submitted + top players aren't even playing the newly ranked high star maps in the past(before 2021-ish) shit would get filled legit instantly at least within a day on any map, now everything just feels dead and i'm the only one playing the new high sr maps in the ranked section. unfortunately its slowly killing my drive to play i see a lot of good scores that SHOULD get more recognition but never get recognition because not many people care about new ranked maps anymore, sad times
