Before you buy a single share on the NGX, do these 3 things first: 1. Build an emergency fund that covers 3 to 6 months of expenses. 2. Pay off any high interest debt. 3. Set up a dedicated investment account separate from your spending. Investing without a foundation is just gambling with extra steps.

One thing Nigerian students have made peace with is... Surviving without being handed the blueprint on how to survive. No map. No manual. Just vibes 😭😂 "The exhaustion is not by chance. Naso e be, if e didn't dey, e didn't dey"...said one Nigerian student🤧

I can’t even lie, This thing always bursts my brain. And here it is: let me share it with you. Israel and Saudi Arabia are very intelligent countries for successfully selling the idea to billions of people in the world that a piece of land and building in their country is “holy land” and it is “religious duty” to leave your own country and visit to see/touch it. From a tourism and revenue point of view, this is absolute genius from Israel and Saudi Arabia. You have foolish countries like Nigeria who have a government-funded program to send people on religious pilgrimages to this country. Imagine so stupid as a country that you dedicate your own government money to fund another country’s tourism project. PS- I have no issues with anybody visiting any country they want for whatever reasons they choose. AS LONG AS they are spending their own money and government money is not used to fund a personal religious vacation. But of course, as a poor stupid country, we dedicate money we don’t have to fund pilgrimage travels and contribute tourism revenue to countries far richer than we are. Just think about how stupid the Nigerian government is. Of course I expect the mental slaves and volunteer idiots to gather and cry under this tweet.

In game theory, the best move depends on what everyone else is doing. In investing, the best returns come from doing what everyone else ISN’T doing. When everyone is buying, study what they’re ignoring. When everyone is panicking, study what they’re selling. The crowd is your compass. Go the other way.

My Perplexity Pro subscription expired last month and I’ve really felt the gap in my research & writing work. The vendor now charges $30 (₦50k). Winning this 50k would let me renew immediately and get back to faster, higher-quality output on my projects. It would mean a lot.

He lost an election and disconnected electricity for the whole village saying he connected it using his own money. Therefore they should ask the person they voted for to do it for them.😂 He has also terminated scholarship support for 60 students in his constituency which he funded personally and blames parents for not supporting him during the elections, thus losing the parliamentary seat. They said if they vote for him, he'll get richer in the seat, they voted someone who has added nothing to their lives. That's exactly what Plateau North and Central zone are facing now...

FINDING YOUR TRUTH AS A DEVELOPER As much as we all want to be like someone else, there comes a time you have to sit with yourself and accept one hard truth: your journey will never look exactly like theirs. And that's ok. You see people growing fast. You see achievements. You see timelines that make you question your own progress. And quietly, you start asking yourself, “What am I doing wrong?” But here’s the truth most people don’t say out loud. Something that works perfectly for someone else might never work for you. What takes someone 2 days to understand might take you 2 weeks or even longer. A place someone reaches in 2 years of being a developer might take you 6 years to get to. And no, that doesn’t mean you’re failing. It just means your path is different. This journey is not a straight line. There are moments you’ll feel lost, confused, and tired. Moments you’ll stare at your screen and feel like nothing is clicking. Moments when motivation disappears and doubt takes over. And in those moments, comparison becomes dangerous. Just because someone prefers backend over frontend doesn’t mean you must force yourself into the same lane. Just because someone codes with a certain programming language doesn’t mean that’s your calling too. Just because someone launched a startup four years into tech doesn’t mean you’re behind if you haven’t. Finding your truth as a developer means having the courage to listen to yourself instead of the noise around you. It means choosing growth over perfection, progress over pressure, and learning to celebrate small wins that nobody sees. It hurts when someone you started coding with two years ago is now far ahead, winning awards, getting recognition, and living the dream you once imagined for yourself. That pain is real. Don’t ignore it. But don’t let it destroy you either. Because their success does not cancel your future. Your growth is happening, even when it’s quiet. Even when it’s slow. Even when nobody is clapping yet. Take it easy, my brothers and sisters. Breathe. Trust the process. Keep showing up on the days you don’t feel like it. Keep learning even when it feels uncomfortable. Keep believing, even when the results are not obvious yet. Your truth matters. Your pace matters. Your journey matters. And no matter how long it takes, the world is still waiting for YOU!
