The clippers got slammed for not paying Paul George when the sixers did.
He ends up playing 41 games in szn 1 and then 37 games and the sixers moved him and had to attach draft capital to do it.

Essentially acquired both PG and Kawhi, legit contenders for 3+ seasons derailed by injuries. Now if he resigned PG last year, totally diff story

@ClipperKyle IMO rather roll with BI and the draft picks. We aren’t competing for another few seasons, would’ve gave up a lot of capital for a player that simply is not moving the needle in any meaningful way this season or the next

Clippers not resigning PG last offseason will prove to be the best decision they’ve ever made. Already getting a start on a rebuild with picks instead of whatever purgatory path a PG extension had you on, accelerates the rebuild by a minimum of 3-5 years.
