On Thursday 5th December, we will be commemorating the life and work of Maryse Condé at @FrenchDeptUCC. Join us for a paper by @KateJHodgson, a workshop led by @isabellejouinot, and an evening of music from Ines Khai with readings of Condé's work from our students

Congratulations to the winner of our annual Bourse doctorale, Maïka Nguyen! Maïka is completing her PhD in @ucdslcl under the supervision of Prof. Mary Gallagher. Her thesis is entitled “Writing Home: Haiti and Vietnam as Home in the Autofiction of Danny Laferrière and Anna Moï”.
