Iran war cost of living latest:
* Petrol prices have risen at their fastest rate since 2022, increasing by 3.5p to 135.67p for a litre of petrol. Diesel has risen by 6.9p to 149.01p.
* The OBR has warned that the war in Iran could mean inflation ends the year at closer to 3%, rather than the current forecast of 2%
* Rachel Reeves has said that the government's plan to increase fuel duty from September is 'under review' while defending the policy
* Reeves said she 'will not tolerate price gouging' on forecourts with some garages charging more than 180p per litre

This shit is HARD. I qualified as a doctor in 1991. I started training in internal medicine. Then I became a GP and worked as one for many years. Now, I am a rural generalist, working mostly in emergency medicine in the remotest parts of Australia. Anyone who thinks poorly trained non doctors can sift undifferentiated patients safely is busy climbing the lowest slopes of Mount Stupid in the Dunning-Kruger mountains of La-La Land.

The Michael Baidoo debate, he signed on until 2028 for a club record fee at the time, looked well out of sorts for Championship level, not looking match fit or up to standard, then goes out on loan for the season to Umm Salal SC, a side in the Qatari Stars League.
