I love this game. I wake up every morning and pour everything I have into it, for myself and for my partners. It’s a tough, challenged sport with plenty of external forces already working against us. What we can’t afford is self-sabotage. There are so many passionate people in this industry. Let’s start acting like it. We need to row in the same direction. The Triple Crown is one of the few things actually working for us right now…So let’s leave it alone and focus on the thousand other real problems we have. It’s that simple. - Matt C

Unfortunately, Gratefully was scratched by the Keeneland regulatory veterinarians today. While the timing is disappointing, we appreciate their diligence in prioritizing her safety. Following the scratch, our veterinary team conducted a thorough evaluation, including a jog-up and radiographs of both front legs to address the regulatory feedback. Based on that evaluation, our team is confident that we are dealing with a minor foot issue. Gratefully’s well-being is our absolute priority. We will treat the foot and look forward to bringing her back to the track when she is ready.

Another eye catching performance today in New York as One Nine Hundred really put it all together to win a salty allowance race easily! He couldn’t have been more impressive. Masterful job by trainer @morley_racing who has been very patient and allowed this horse to develop over the last 12 months. Kudos to him and his team.
