@HonestDevIO you're right on the math: 5×50 = 250 tok/s cloud vs 45 tok/s local.
but a single 3060 12GB handles 2-3 concurrent instances. aggregate 90-140 tok/s. plus: zero latency, zero rate limit, zero bill.
not debating — just adding context so the numbers are fair.
English

@adenaufal On a 3060 it runs about 45 tokens per second, while claude opus 4.7 runs 52 tokens per session. However I can have 5 sessions open, so thats 260 vs 45 tokens.
Even faster for gemini 3.5 flash, sonnet or haiku
So not a super honest comparison right?

interesting pivot. curious what this means for existing cursorrules and custom instructions — switching the underlying model mid-flight usually breaks things silently. the moat was always the UX, not the model

Cursor used to wrap Claude and GPT now it's building its own models Composer 2.5 matches Claude Opus 4.7 on coding benchmarks.. At 1/10 the cost. Cursor just became a different company.

@chandrarsrikant vibe slop is a review problem, not a generation problem. Stack Overflow copy-paste was the same thing 10 years ago. AI just made the people who never reviewed their code faster at not reviewing it

Two engineers who built the core of the massively popular OpenClaw AI agent have a stark warning: The artificial intelligence supposedly capable of replacing well-paid software developers is flooding the world with bad, potentially even dangerous, code.
It’s a phenomenon they call “vibe slop”—a combination of “vibe coding,” creating software with AI tools by describing it in plain English, and “AI slop,” the endless, low-value AI-generated content all over social media.

@Dhanush_Nehru Claude Code for complex architecture + debugging. Codex for rapid prototyping. they're complementary, not competitors — the real skill isn't picking one, it's knowing which to reach for based on the task

- Uang ngopi keluar, ganti kopi saset
- Uang jajan, ganti dengan makan dirumah saja
- Uang beli air minum, ganti dengan bawa botol air
- Uang bensin, manfaatkan transum
- Uang ngapel, ganti dengan Online Meet aja 🤣
Apalagi menurut kalian?

In this economy, hal apa yang bisa kalian kurangi?
