Perhaps the best definition of clean code was given by @mfeathers: “Clean code always looks like it was written by someone who cares.”

Not deploying on Friday (or not ending a Sprint on Friday) is a huge red flag for me. It tells me that your code is such poor quality (and so poorly tested) that you're afraid of something going wrong over the weekend. 1/2

Developers, you are not victims. Do not put yourself in that position by asking for permission to do what you _know_ needs to be done.
