Many of those quick to shout “reality” forget that it’s human beings like them that make a pattern of behaviour realistic or idealistic.
Slavery was once considered normal and realistic. It only ended because some people refused to accept it as reality. They spoke against it, fought it, and changed what society saw as “reality”.
The same applies to many social norms. What people call “normal” today is often just the result of enough people accepting and promoting it.
Before, the realistic thing for men was that they were marrying virgins. Then a perverted minority came, crowned degeneracy in women as the best thing since sliced bread and have now won!!!
My reality is that with or without money, I’m the head of my home. Another person’s reality is that their wife who lies on the internet saying “I love love” values money than their relationship/marriage and so will disrespect her husband and make him the wife once he loses “his shield”.
Basically, reality vs idealism is what we want it to be. This is why we should always preach in favour of what people call “ideal”, not what they call real.
At the end of the day, if we only preach what is real, nothing ever changes. We should preach what is right and what society should become, not simply accept what society already is.
