The moment you realize 90% of your ADHD issues are due to a time blindness you wasn't aware of is only comparable to when you realize other people's ADHDs can respond to the same struggles... or to completely different ones.

"¿TDAH? Todos somos un poco TDAH". "¿Altas capacidades? A ti lo que te pasa es que vas de guay". Y así todo.

Uno de mis primeros recuerdos de pequeñajo es sentirme demasiado distinto y tranquilizarme pensando que "el mundo es gigantesco, seguro que hay alguna forma de dar con personas que funcionan parecido, aunque vivan en otros países y hablen otro idioma". Y bueno, aquí estamos.

One of the things I most hate about my ADHD is asking someone's name with genuine interest and forgetting it even before they answer.

First thing: 1+1=5

Those who always demand extra explanations are also the ones complaining about introductory overexplaining. It's so exhausting.

Family is everything for squirrels! They build strong bonds to protect against predators & ensure survival of their kin. A true lesson in unity!

@Finnattentive My opinion: ND awareness and empowerment switched some people's attitude from defense mode to attack mode. Not every neuronormal is hostile, as not every ND is, but the ones who are can be unbearably stubborn, harmful and annoying. Also difficult to ignore unless you block them.

PTSD don't need to be a super traumatic issue. If so, could be a thousand times worse, but also accumulates when tiny little daily issues happen. PTSD is extremely f*ckd up sh/t, what else can I say

How does PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder) work on me. A brief thread. 3 months ago I was arriving home late from work and a neighbor was dining in her balcony. She unexpectedly said "Goodnight buddy!" quite loud. It was dark, so she scared me. 1//2

I’m posting a ton about my book. A) I want it to reach as many people as possible b/c it’s the brain manual ✨I needed ✨ & didn’t have. B) I’m excited I ACTUALLY FINISHED a 7-year-long project of learning to work w/my brain & putting the info somewhere I could find it again

Quite literally why I wrote a book. Hoping to give others a road map through learning about ADHD & all the strategies that can help to make it a bit easier.

What is June?

My #ADHD moment of today was reading #ADHDAwarenessMonth and asking myself (also this year): "But wasn't ADHD Awareness month in June?"
