How exactly does Sowore fight politicians? What single successful civil campaign has this man ever led in Nigeria? He hasn’t donated a single kobo to any genuine cause in the country. Still one of the biggest regrets as a Chelsea fan. Back in 2023 we triggered Olise’s £35m release clause, he said yes, and he was absolutely terrorising Premier League defenders week in, week out.
We had a player who’s silky, two-footed, creates magic from the right wing, drifts inside like a number 10, scores screamers and picks out perfect passes. Imagine that alongside Cole Palmer, two creators who can unlock any defence. Olise would have taken so much pressure off Palmer, given us real width and flair on the right, and made our attack scary in a completely different way.
Instead, when Palace cried tapping-up, our owners just backed off, signed Noni Madueke, and let Olise stay at Palace. That decision still hurts. We could’ve been doing even greater things with him in this team right now.
One of the clearest misses under Boehly. Painful.

Call me crazy but Tuchel played an outrageously boring football where the defenders flourished in attack more than the actual attackers. I loved him because he found a way to win no matter what but my fullbacks having more G/A than my forwards didnt dey.
