I thought the same before I bought my PCX. You're going to be fine; they look scary, but they're not. I changed to PCX from my Honda Blade, and thank God I did.

I’m currently considering a new GTR150 or even an ADV160 - however the ADV160 is more expensive and looks a lot heavier!

I think my 2nd clutch is going on my beloved Honda GTR 150. She's about 5 years old now and has had a good run. Do I patch her up again with a new clutch, brakes and speedometer unit or get a new bike?

I want a city where I can buy martabak in the middle of the night, and shop in my pyjamas in Indomaret. I want a city with car free Sundays and a different badminton club for ever day of the week. I want a city with diversity, tolerance, very surprisingly low levels of road rage and gradually improving affordable public transport. I want a city with a great cinemas, a few waterparks, an ice ring, lots of live music and a Jazz Festival. I want a city where people hustle but are friendly, where you can get great massage and toilets have a hose. I want a city which has a heart and a sense of humour. Of course, I'd still love more green spaces, more trees, more walkable areas, cleaner air and cleaner rivers. Jakarta's not perfect, but nowhere is - however, this great city is genuinely getting better every day and it is a kind of paradise, if you choose to see it that way.

Why I'm staying in Jakarta after 6 years: - Connect to everything - Still affordable - Malls are spotless - Food is delicious - Swimming pools are clean - Can park anywhere - Never gets cold - But mainly because of the people I want a city which makes me feel alive, is a little chaotic, a 24 hour city full of energy and potential. It's not a utopia, of course, but I'll take this city, with all its flaws – every time.
