Muzukuru, I really didn’t want to respond to this because it's a distraction from the real issue of us debating the constitutional amendment. Nevertheless, I appreciate your input. Here are a few facts I need to clear: 1. I didn't meet Kuda through you, but through Junior Mnangagwa, who reached out to me on October 28th, 2024, after we got the UN Human Rights Council to come to Zimbabwe. 2. Junior introduced himself and said we'd done a great job with the UN Human Rights Council and the debate with the U.S. and EU ambassadors on Spaces. He asked what we intended to do with the UNHRC report, and I said we wanted to go to court. 3. Junior told me to go to any international court and they'd provide the money. A few weeks later Kuda reached out and flew me to Harare, where we discussed the case and he asked me to write a strategy to manage his image. He paid me to write his strategy and promised to pay the legal fees once he got the green light from the President. 4. In that meeting, he promised me and another well-known person we'd be working for him and would be millionaires within a year because he wanted to advance smart people. 5. That afternoon, Kuda took me and Joshua Maponga to meet the President, illustrating that the project he called me for was under the President's purview. 6. We struggled for two years to get all the promised legal fees, but Simba Chitando and the South African lawyers continued to work until sanctions were removed. The South African legal team then began threatened to expose the Zimbabwean government for not paying their fees, and Kuda released a portion, leaving few millions still outstanding. 7. When we had problems with our legal team and the money we owed, I went to Junior and the then DG of CIO, Isaac Moyo. Both told me that the President said Kuda was my handler, so he'd deal with the issues. 8. Kuda's the only man I dealt with on Zimbabwean issues and he is the only person I ever actively promoted. 9. I met Simon on Gold Mafia, which was tarnishing the country's image. Simon supported my fertilizer business and gave me a token of appreciation for my sanctions work because he said it has helped his business. 10. He advised me to avoid politics, so I can't understand why he's now involved in succession issues just because I don’t support an amendment to the constitution without referendum. 11. It’s clear that those people trying to associate me with Simon are trying to hide the fact that my only real handler has always been Kuda, and it’s obvious who the person paying them to do it is. I don’t want to fight, but these people are pushing me to fight by attacking me for merely refusing to blindly support the amendment. I should be allowed to air my views on the amendment without being attacked. But I am being attacked for refusing to toe the line. That is where the problem is. 12. I don’t want to get to a point where I release receipts on everything I am saying because I have all the receipts. Most of this people will read in my book on Sanctions which I can now release without awaiting clearance.

At this point, I must address you, Sekuru Moyo, with a modicum of urgency: it is imperative that you cease this unseemly behavior. I was the one who took the initiative to introduce you to Kuda, who, I can attest, treated you with commendable respect during your collaborative efforts. You've also had dealings with Rudland, whom I know well too. Of course he isn't into politics but you are the one dragging him there. It is regrettable to see how your conduct has taken a turn for the erratic, bordering on the whimsical, thus encroaching upon the sanctity of the privacy once cherished in your professional relations. You seem to lack the decorum befitting a practitioner in PR. You are now cavalierly weaponizing confidential information during disputes. I helped kukuburitsai muhurombe Sekuru and yet, you persist in digging your own grave. It is a solemn truth that you will find no allies in this endeavor, even among those you might be attempting to impress with such theatrics. No politician worth their salt will value the services of a public relations professional who lacks the fortitude to safeguard secrets. Moyo, muri Amai vangu, and I feel compelled to offer you candid counsel. I facilitated your entry into this circle, only to witness you fashioning a situation ripe with indignity. Your actions are misguided and must be reconsidered. We don't have to brawl. @matinyara

I am disappointed with the decision by the Israeli police to prevent the Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem and the Christian Communities of the Holy Land from marking Palm Sunday at the Holy Sepulchre.    These actions further violate the longstanding status quo of Jerusalem’s Holy Sites. People of every faith in Jerusalem should be able to worship freely, fully, and without fear. I am pleased that President Herzog has contacted the Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem, His Beatitude Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa, to reaffirm this.

Most Black people defending white supremacy are not confused. They are very aware of their doings. There is a long tradition of rewarding the one who will stand up with our face and our name and tell our oppressors what they want to hear. The platform, the career, the protection, all of it flows to those willing to perform that function. The most dangerous enemy of African dignity today sometimes carries our grandmothers’ surnames and our countries’ flags. And that is the most refined form of dispossession: when those with the most to lose become the most devoted defenders of the system built to ensure they never stop losing.

In the UK, the clocks go forward by one hour at 1am on the last Sunday in March, marking the start of British Summer Time (BST). In 2026, that falls on March 29. The clocks “spring forward” to 2am, meaning one hour less sleep, but longer, brighter evenings to enjoy. My favourite time of the year here. When the clocks go forward, we’re almost back in sync with Zimbabwe time. Those WhatsApp calls that used to come through at 4am now land at 5am… just that little bit more tolerable.

I have supported Donald Trump strongly from the beginning without hesitation. But moments like this make you pause. Did he really say that? MBS is an asslicker? Referring to Mohammed bin Salman, the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, in such a manner? A nation that plays a central role in global energy markets and whose long-standing economic relationship with the United States has had significant implications for the dollar and global finance? This isn’t just about personalities. It’s about posture. Diplomacy. Respect between nations. Because words from a sitting U.S. President don’t just echo, they signal. To allies. To adversaries. To the world. And when that tone shifts into something more abrasive, more personal, it raises questions not just about intent, but about consequence. We’ve seen boldness before. We’ve seen unpredictability. But there’s a line between disruption and diminishing the dignity of the office. And when that line blurs, even supporters are left asking: What exactly are we witnessing? MBS, the world is watching.
