✨ Perpetual Profession – Sisters of St. Joseph of Tarbes ✨ It was a joyful and grace-filled celebration as eight Sisters of St. Joseph of Tarbes made their Perpetual Profession, with the Holy Mass presided over by Archbishop Anthony Muheria. In his homily, the Archbishop reflected that while all Christians are called by God to live lives of praise, some are specially chosen to offer their entire lives in service to Him. He noted that religious sisters are called to console God and serve as His spouses, becoming signs of hope and healing in a broken world. He encouraged the sisters to live their vocation through humility, simplicity, and meekness, reminding them of the words of St. Paul: “I am a poor servant; I have only done my duty.” The Archbishop urged them to give God their mind in obedience and their heart in total love, trusting Him completely—just as St. Joseph trusted God without hesitation. He described the sisters as “envelopes carrying God’s message,” called to deliver His love faithfully to the world. In his final remarks, he challenged them to “wear out for Christ,” becoming instruments that draw out negativity and bring healing to society. He also encouraged all Christians present to let the love witnessed in the celebration extend to their families, especially in strengthening the Sacrament of Matrimony. A powerful celebration of dedication, love, and lifelong commitment to God. God bless ADN Communications Office

Powering Impact Through Partnership 🤝🌱 (Transformative Partnership in Renewable Energy) Following the successful commissioning of the Seeds of Energy Solar Project at Consolata Hospital Mathari, we take a moment to recognize the partners whose support made this initiative possible. We extend our sincere appreciation to Starkmacher Impact / Archdiocese of Cologne and GIZ Kenya for their commitment to sustainable development, innovation, and climate action. Through these partnerships, the Seeds of Energy Project has evolved from vision to implementation, delivering clean and reliable energy to institutional users while reducing operational costs and strengthening environmental sustainability. The project comprises a 765.4 kWp solar PV system and a 783.36 kWh battery storage system, supporting 34 institutions. It is estimated to generate over 1,250 MWh of clean energy annually, resulting in approximately KES 28 million in annual savings and a reduction of over 500 tonnes of CO₂ emissions. This collaboration demonstrates the value of shared vision, trust, and coordinated action in advancing sustainable development. Together, we continue planting seeds that will power communities for generations to come. God Bless

🎶 Holy Mass with Choir Members – Ngandu 🎶 “Peace be with you.” — these words of Christ set the tone as Archbishop Anthony Muheria joined choir members at Ngandu for their annual gathering and celebration of Holy Mass. In his homily, the Archbishop reflected on the many challenges facing people today—economic hardships, mental struggles, and unemployment—reminding the faithful that Christ has already provided a well of salvation, yet many still resist change and cling to old ways. He invited all to draw from this well, emphasizing the sacraments as a source of healing and renewal, especially for those who have grown weary and “lazy of heart.” Addressing the choir, he encouraged them to let their music draw them closer to God, and to live lives that reflect what they sing—bringing joy, peace, and unity to families and society. “ Sing not for yourselves, but for others—be apostles of the Good News.” He urged them to deepen their ministry by understanding the songs they sing—their meaning, origin, and place in the liturgy—so that their service becomes more authentic. In his final remarks, the Archbishop emphasized the importance of learning the liturgy, noting that even procession dances are part of worship and should meaningfully reflect the message of the song and honor God. He concluded by calling all to be lights of Christ, rooted in prayer, the sacraments, and unity within the Church. Through the intercession of Mother Mary, may we become apostles of love and joy. Archbishop Anthony Muheria: Let’s bring God back into our conversations as a key thought, a key anchor to why and the reason for what we do as leaders and as citizens. I think it is important that we give value to those things that are less tangible: life, love, compassion, and care. Greed has made us totally blinded, and it is money and power that are driving us now. We must be agents of hope; hope is not just a passive situation, it must be an active hope, it is where we work to ensure youth get jobs, to make sure the youth can have hope #CitizenExplainer

Archbishop Anthony Muheria: Currently, the young people face difficulty when they are disappointed and discouraged, and almost enter into despair when they don’t get a job for four years. They are discouraged when they are in university, and they have to struggle to have lunch because HELB is not enough. Let’s understand the young people and try to solve the problems they have #CitizenExplainer

Archbishop Anthony Muheria: I think one of the problems is that might is right, and that is gaining more and more space, that wealth is right, that the powerful can do whatever they want, they are not answerable to anyone. There are paymasters behind these goons, and we cannot use violence to prove points; we cannot use violence to make ourselves popular. We must get back to civilization and avoid this primitive return to goonism #CitizenExplainer

✨ Confirmation & Renewal of Promises – St. Charles Lwanga Kahira-ini Parish ✨ It was a colorful and joyful celebration at St. Charles Lwanga Kahira-ini Catholic Parish, led by Archbishop Anthony Muheria, as 130 candidates received the Sacrament of Confirmation, alongside the renewal of promises by CMA and CWA. In his homily, the Archbishop reminded the faithful that: “We are strengthened by the Resurrection of Christ.” He urged Christians to remain firm in faith as adopted sons and daughters of God, not giving in to fear or falling back into sin, but allowing Christ to guide their lives. Addressing families, he called for unity, love, and responsibility, urging men to stand firm, women to avoid gossip and division, and all to show special care to the vulnerable, especially children with special needs. Reflecting on the disciples of Emmaus, he cautioned against “running away” from God’s plan due to worldly concerns, encouraging instead a life rooted in Christ and the Eucharist. The Archbishop also called on the faithful to reject sin, live in truth, and become missionaries of hope, while safeguarding the sanctity of the Church. In conclusion, he encouraged all to live as salt and light of the world, drawing strength from Christ and the example of St. Charles Lwanga. God bless ADN Communications Office

✨ St. Joseph the Worker Staff Recollection Day – Archdiocese of Nyeri Staff ✨ Today, the St. Joseph the Worker Staff of the Archdiocese of Nyeri held a fruitful Recollection Day at Bible on the Ground, Nanyuki. The day began with an insightful tour of the facility, where participants were taken through the importance of reading and understanding the Bible, which reveals: • The Love of God • The State of Humanity • The Salvation of Humanity • The promise of Eternal Life The recollection was led by Rev. Fr. Boniface Kimiru, under the theme: “Renewed in Faith and Mission.” Drawing from the Book of Nehemiah, he emphasized the spirit of communion and collaboration, reflected in phrases like “next to him”—a call to: •Unity of purpose. •Caring for one another (emotionally and spiritually). •Appreciating each other’s gifts. •Avoiding vices such as jealousy. •Maintaining strong communication. •Taking personal responsibility even within a shared mission. He also spoke on the importance of setting healthy boundaries—“the walls to build”: •Learning when to say yes or no •Exercising discretion in communication •Protecting oneself from harm •Respecting personal and communal space The participants were reminded of the importance of genuine prayer, described as a “school” that teaches us how to pray and remain connected to God. The day concluded with the Holy Mass, where the homily centered on the theme of “The Mathematics of Grace”—a reflection on how God multiplies His blessings in the lives of His people. A meaningful day of renewal, reflection, and strengthening in faith and mission. God bless ADN Communications Office
