Ukrainian officials believe the country is entering a new phase of total war with Russia as the Kremlin continues to escalate.

Russia is a thorn in the side of the US and Trump. US/NATO had hoped to quickly defeat Russia on the battlefield, through sanctions, or through a riots, but none of these options worked. It backfired and now, US/NATO are struggling to cope with the burden it has placed on itself.
