On 5/10 an Internal Affairs investigation was initiated into actions by frmr officer Bethany Guerriero for her conduct during a response to a disturbance call involving a firearm. The investigation concluded she violated department policies. On 8/25 her employment was terminated.

Killeen Police are investigating a shooting incident that occurred at 12:00 pm, in the 3200 block of Cantabrian Drive. One female victim was airlifted in stable condition and one suspect has been identified. This is an isolated incident and there is no threat to the community.

@LinaAsahi I think it defeats rust’s promise of memory safety. However, linus is correct. It is not an actual memory error. You just have to check the runtime context. I think rust should just panic if it detects that runtime context was not checked for correctness.
