the reply is technically also my answer. i was able to escape my artist slump for years… and i’ve been creating more ever since. i’ve been reading a lot more (thank you to our authors). i’ve been traveling (my greatest goal). i’ve made so many friends (a real win for me). i’ve tried (and am still trying) to learn a new language.
this is really a matter of perspective and making sure you grow alongside your artists… and fortunately, i am. i’m no longer the person i was when i first started stanning seventeen. i’m more now. better. and even better, i’m still becoming.

You don’t even realize it, but you’re slowly investing more of your time in being a fangirl than in building your own life. At some point, you have to ask yourself if it’s still just support or already a distraction from your own growth and priorities.
