I’d like to share for Negros. Studied college in the city, and later did several research field works in Geographically Isolated and Disadvantaged Areas (GIDA). Poor communities in coastal and upland areas are so afraid to share their struggles since they’re being controlled.

the threshold for “educate, not berate” is different for those who lack access to proper information and education compared to those privileged enough to have every means to know better. offering clarity to the uninformed is not the same as coddling those who choose ignorance.
