In Ukraine, the situation with forced mobilization has become so dire that it risks sparking something close to a civil war. Today, an officer involved in coercive conscription was killed — his throat was slit. Since the country is getting deeper and deeper into chaos and trust to the government has reduced dramatically, people are taking matters into their own hands, seeing themselves as the only force capable of protecting their lives from both external aggression and domestic policies.
