Are Debt-funds better than FD? It’s one of the hardest questions to answer. To be honest there is no straight answer to this. Often Debt-funds are advertised as tax-efficient resources. However, Post-tax FD returns may or may not be higher than Post-tax Debt returns.

What makes a stock grow? Look for these possibilities: 1)Reinvesting earnings at a constant or rising rate of return on invested capital. 2)Investing borrowed money to earn more than the cost of capital. 3)Acquiring other companies by exchanging high P/E stock for low P/E stock.
