With respect to the idea of a Crypto-Czar at the Whitehouse, I feel the role needs to be filled with someone who is neutral, works with all the protocols, and has a deep understanding of why crypto is special as well as what the US government under Biden has done wrong. There is only one candidate that I think stands out in our industry for this role and that's @brian_armstrong. Coinbase has grown into one of the pillars of crypto and has had to endure the unfair tactics of a government committed to regulation through enforcement. I know he could build a broad tent coalition to bring the industry together and help us get the government rallied behind real action including passing new laws. For my part, having worked with the legislative branch in Wyoming to get 31 crypto laws passed, I'm focusing a ton of my efforts on the House and Senate to help facilitate the legislative effort that will forever remove the abuses of the current federal government and open the floodgates for the legacy world to enter crypto. To this end, I'm flying to DC today to begin formally meeting and advising several lawmakers and will be starting a project in January out of IO Policy called Operation Baseline to survey the American cryptocurrency industry to identify waste, abuse, and missed opportunities. It's important that these get transmitted to the new Crypto-Czar and the lawmakers so that there are clear business requirements for policy. The president's goal is to make America the best place in the world to start and run a cryptocurrency and blockchain business. We as an industry have to come together to make that happen. There are no excuses anymore. The time has come to get this done so that we all can get back to work changing the world.

@adyjski Virtually any form of financial instrument that cannot or is not meant to be repaid immediately can be construed as a form of credit money. The credit they are accruing is junk stocks, the price of which is pumped by the same “credit money” in the first place. It’s FIAT.
