@futurexflare @martellroyalty he also didn't "just tell her something" in the scene, he was referring to their relationship as not real, she emphasised how much she loved him n the second he finished saying he loves her too she started moving back unnaturally

@futurexflare @martellroyalty don't think it's a stretch whatsoever to think it links into the films themes. interpreting it as nikki trying to fight for control against the entity, which was shown more transparently a few times during the film, is why it works even better for me. seems to be very deliberate

@futurexflare @martellroyalty the entire point is for it to look unnatural & off kilter. with the added context of why the scene played out the way it did n how it fits the narrative, it felt even creepier personally. but I do understand if it's a criticism for people, not gonna work for everyone

You know all those movies I listed are good to great to masterpieces. Unlike Welles he didn’t need a co-writer and his best films aren’t adaptations. Get real.
