In order to enable per character styling in the latest version of Type, I have a rather complex expression going. It checks each style of each character and changes it if it does not match the style of the first character. This works, but can lead to performance issues. Anyone have a better workaround?

@ae_screens Hey man, thank you for the update! I don't know if it’s my machine, but I am working on a project right now that has 2 copies of Typewriter + Blinky in it. My composition completely freezes and I can’t scrub anymore. When I turn the layers off, everything works fine.

Biggest Type update yet. Added: -New feature: Typing tags. Automatically add markers every frame your text changes. -Added pausing feature to time counter (shift + click) Improved: -Typewriter/Blinky now retain character styling! -Improved Blinky support for multi-line text -Highlight, underline, and strikethrough now target each iteration of selection -Leading 0s are now optional for time counters (i.e. "5:000" or "05:000") -UI updates immediately based on feature preferences Improved most expressions Fixed: -Various bugs aescreens.com/tools/type

What do you want to see improved in Type? It's been a while, but I plan on releasing an update soon.
