@YaToyour @3lfares Since when asking a question was being in denial? See, you answered it so thank you. The other guy got his insecurity triggered and created a whole mess of misinformation campaign about Turks.

@aee1090 @3lfares why are you in denial? Philip is ethnically Arab from the roman province of ARABIA, in an area populated by Arabs for thousands of years in modern day Syria

i love how turkish nationalists insult their own family members by calling them arabs

@3lfares And? Among my cousins I was the darkest so I was called arap/black pepper as a kid but in the street there was a darker skinned kid so official arap was him as a nickname. When we see him on the street we call “Arap, how are you?”. so what is your point? wisdomlib.org/names/arap

@3lfares It is not an insult, it is an ifentifier, oldest one I found is this guy, tr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arap_Ahme… sources vary as he is called Arab either because he is from Algiers or because he had dark skin. Do you think a high ranking general would have it as nickname if it was an insult?

@3lfares No, you claimed Philippe the Arab is called that way because he was ethnic Arab, I warned you that Turks use the word Arab colloquial as a dark skinned person, if Turks learned it from Romans as they did many other things, it might be the case too for Philippe.

@3lfares Looks more about your insecurity. For us it is an identifier examples; limp/lame(used even for Timur), blind, bald, bastard(usually used for cheats), mute, yellow/chick(blondest), carrot(ginger), arap(darkest),cannibal(behaves uncivilized) etc. We don’t care as much as you hope.

TasteAtlas@TasteAtlas

Learn more: tasteatlas.com/shawarma The secret to a perfect shawarma lies in the long marination process where the meat is soaked for at least twenty four hours in a complex blend of spices like cardamom cloves and cinnamon. As the vertical rotisserie slowly turns the meat bastes in its own juices and fat which creates a texture that is incredibly succulent and tender. While the technique originates from the Ottoman era it has evolved into the ultimate Arabic street food that is now found in every corner of the globe. What really sets shawarma apart from Turkish doner or Greek gyros is the incredible variety of local garnishes and bold condiments. Depending on the region it is served with everything from zesty garlic toum and tahini to spicy mango amba or even pickled turnips. This wide range of toppings combined with traditional flatbreads like pita or lavash creates a unique flavor profile that changes completely from one country to another. Which one is your favorite?
