@_nyanbun_ agreed, i think it’s just they weren’t aware that their words were discouraging/exhausting/upsetting and i think i wouldn’t have known either if i never went thru this myself. it’s caused a lot of self reflection so i am grateful for that. thanks for sharing your experience!

@_nyanbun_ i feel this so much, the company i work for gets a lot of hate in the media, and ppl will ask me “oh you’re STILL there? why?” These kinds of comments suck and definitely take a toll on you mentally, even if u love what you do & love where u work 😓 fwiw i think you’re amazing ❤️

It sucks to feel like being employed by this industry means also accepting that people feel free to judge you for whatever arbitrary decision some senior leader made that was totally out of your control
