We urge SM Entertainment and One Production to properly manage aespa’s social media accounts. aespa’s social media accounts (X, Instagram, TikTok) are not being used to their fullest potential due to the lack of management. aespa’s social media team should 100% always be on time to post important information (events, achievements, comeback teasers, etc) however there has been numerous times where they are late to posting, forgetting to post or deleting posts randomly. The lack of social medial presence for aespa results in less visibility for the group. The official aespa account on X refuses to post aespa’s TikTok videos on this app and instead uses links and an excessive amount of hashtags which eventually leads to the account being shadow banned. aespa’s TikTok engagement has also plummeted due to the excessive amount of short clips they keep posting. TikTok is not an app to post behind the scenes clips. TikTok should be used to promote aespa. Let the members post dance challenges to trends and use the account to promote their music. The reason aespa’s account is shadow banned 90% of the time is because the social media manager spams short videos at random times during the day leading to little engagements on the videos. The incompetence of aespa’s team is only going to ruin it for the group. Big events like Lollapalooza should be acknowledged and celebrated by the official accounts and not just a repost. Same with music collaborations, those are just as important as official comebacks yet the official aespa accounts barely make time to post or even promote them on social media. This is just two examples out of many where the team did not capitalize off of hype. Please take our concerns into consideration and make sure aespa’s social media is handled properly going forward @aespa_official @SMTOWNGLOBAL As always, we only want what’s best for aespa and to be able to have more opportunities in the future.
