The fact that Carson Benge has only had 11 ABs against left-handed pitching this season is absolutely terrible player development.
This organization keeps forcing these platoon-style lineups, and it constantly backfires. They did the exact same thing to Brett Baty when he first came up, and now they’re doing it again to a player with an even higher ceiling.
You can’t keep shielding young hitters from left-on-left matchups….
