💨 With #StormÉowyn bringing wind gusts of up to 90mph, these extreme conditions mean that it’s simply not safe right now for our teams to climb and carry out repairs to damaged poles and overhead lines. However, we still do all we can to restore your power safely and quickly. 🔁 One of the ways we can do this is by remotely re-routing the affected supplies to different parts of the network – this is a process we call “switching” and it can be done by engineers without the need to travel to the actual fault location. ⚠️ It’s important to note that we can’t restore all supplies by switching – when there’s a major fault we usually still need to carry out repairs on site. 🎥 Watch this short video to learn more:
