@HmztY41889 Again, they are not developed enough to understand what is happening to them, and it doesn’t matter how they feel about it. It’s still obviously wrong. Also, it’s incredibly damaging to their mental and physical health, and a lot of that damage will last a lifetime.

@HmztY41889 Here in Canada it’s different. Non-Muslims do celebrate Muslim holidays sometimes (if they have Muslim friends or family), to participate and learn about it. My best friend is Chinese, and I celebrate Chinese new year every year with her. It’s not my culture.

@HmztY41889 Christians are not suppressed at all. We believe here that government SHOULD be secular, however unfortunately that’s not really true, as Christian politicians (who are a majority) make a lot of decisions based on their religion

@HmztY41889 There’s nothing wrong with him still feeling connected to his culture even though he is no longer religious. Trying to force him away from his culture is cruel, and would make him less likely to consider returning to Islam.

@HmztY41889 Have you read about Greek mythology? Celtic folklore? The beliefs of all indigenous peoples of north, central, and South America? What about Zoroastrianism? Sikhism? I don’t mean to insult Islam. I am just sharing that from my perspective as a non believer, they all seem the same

@HmztY41889 What I’m saying is, how am I supposed to know which religion has the truth, if any at all? I know you will say to study Islam because it’s the truth (and I respect that you believe that), but from my perspective it doesn’t seem any more true than any other religion.

I’m saying that, as an agnostic/atheist, I don’t believe in any religion at all- therefore all religions seem the same to me. How do you feel about religions other than Islam? That’s how I feel about all religions. I don’t mean it as an insult

@HmztY41889 Just because it’s legalized doesn’t mean it’s right. Zoophilia is animal cruelty, homosexuality does not hurt anyone. Also, that’s not even true. It’s illegal in Japan, Russia, South Korea, and all European countries except for one- because Spain sort of has a loophole.

@HmztY41889 I could argue that the religious culture dominating North Africa/southwest Asia is Islam. Regardless, that’s not really my point. My point is that Christmas is still a part of my culture, even though I am not christian. You don’t have to be religious to have culture
