Huge difference in the performance level of a 3rd grader at the top end of the “Approaching” scale versus those at the bottom. Teachers and parents should determine the path forward by considering the full body of work, not just one score on a state test.

I find it frustrating that we are making major decisions regarding TN Public Education, yet directors can’t get in the sessions and advocate. These bills are too important to push through quickly without a high level of engagement from directors and educators.
