@astaf_gorilla To the contrary. If you disallow any disadvantaged community's shortcomings to be acknowledged, and work to prevent them from being assisted with special measures, it is you that is being racist. I believe in solutions that work, and that is the case in both Malaysia & Singapore.

@astaf_gorilla The bare truth is always hard to swallow. Mahathir Mohamed held the same views. In fact, he wrote an entire book about Malay backwardness. It was such a painful book to read that it was banned in Malaysia in 1970, and was published only in Singapore for over a decade.

In Hong Kong, just like in the UK, English common law applies. So unlike Mainland China, prostitution itself is perfectly legal here as long as it’s not conducted inside a brothel *Used wholly or mainly by 2 or more persons “One-woman brothel” buildings have existed since Colonial times & are scattered about the centre of the city. Each building has tiny micro-apartments with just a bedroom & bathroom. Because it’s a private home with only one woman working alone, it’s not classified as a brothel even though a 100 to 200 or so working women reside in the building.

at the end of the day, Malaysia is the second most advance country in ASEAN behind Singapore. No doubt Malaysian Chinese are the reason for it. However there are more Thai Chinese and Chindo than in Malaysia, why didn’t they helped Thai and Indon to be more advanced?
