4 January 1966. Last episode of the BBC dubbed French-German series The Adventures of Robinson Crusoe was broadcast. 13 episodes were produced with the 1st broadcast on 12 October 1965. Series was repeated many times and became a children’s favourite.

@OldLondonW14 I was at the Sting gig at Hammersmith Apollo last night. He reminded the audience of his days playing at The Red Cow on Hammersmith Rd, and dreaming of playing 'The Odeon'.

The Wargill Sports & garden fete in 1918. Who can guess where this was in Hammersmith ? And who was behind it ?
