I’ll just outright say it - The greatest modern attack on Islam was the propagation of the teachings of Muhammad Ibn Abdul-Wahhab and it certainly was successful It takes the tiniest bit of research to understand that the only reason it gained traction was due to British and Israeli (and later American) investment - tens of billions of dollars dedicated to spreading these teachings throughout the West in order to make the common man think corrupt ‘rulers’ are deities who can’t be questioned, while stripping spirituality and intellect from Islam And I’ll never forget the initial reaction that took place after October 7th from these people - a large portion of MT was saying the Palestinians deserved to be massacred by Israel due to ‘aqeedah issues’ and ‘bidah’ They are my brothers in Islam regardless and I wholeheartedly ally with them against our enemies. But before trying to moralise me for keeping ties with the Shias, understand I’m doing the same with the Wahhabis.
