every affiliate offer u run is going to die
this is the most painful lesson in this business and beginners always learn it the wrong way
they find an offer that prints
they scale it
they invest everything into it
they build their entire operation around it
then one of these things happens
the advertiser pulls the offer
the network changes the payout
the offer caps out and stops accepting new conversions
the scrub rate jumps to 40% overnight
a regulatory change kills the entire vertical
their revenue drops 80% in a week
they panic
they spend the next 2 months trying to find a replacement
most of them quit
the operators printing never get hit by this because they assume every offer is dying from day one
heres the mental model i use
every offer u run is in one of 4 stages
STAGE 1 -> growth (months 1-2)
offer is new, advertiser is hungry for volume, payouts are high, conversion rates are clean
ride it hard
STAGE 2 -> peak (months 3-4)
offer is matured, payouts stable, conversion rate predictable
this is when u make the most money per click
also when u start preparing replacements
STAGE 3 -> decline (months 5-7)
saturation kicks in, payouts get cut, scrub rates climb, advertiser tightens caps
revenue starts shrinking but feels normal because ur still making money
STAGE 4 -> death (month 8+)
something breaks
the offer disappears, gets paused, or becomes unprofitable overnight
if u dont have a replacement ready, ur cooked
the move
at month 3, when ur current offer is peaking, u already start testing 2 backup offers in the same niche
small volume, 50 conversions each, just enough to validate
at month 5, when ur current offer enters decline, u shift 30% of ur traffic to one of the backups
by month 7 ur primary offer is the backup and ur old offer is on life support
by month 8 the death happens and u barely feel it
operators who do this never have a "bad month"
their revenue stays smooth because theyre always 90 days ahead of the death curve
operators who dont do this oscillate between hero months and zero months for 2 years until they burn out
every offer is dying
the only question is whether u know it before it kills ur business
English

heres a question 95% of affiliates cannot answer
which one of ur specific tiktok accounts made u the most money last month
most people guess
some look at total views per account and assume
the operators printing know to the dollar
the technical thing that separates them is called sub-id tracking and it costs nothing to set up
heres what sub-ids are
every affiliate link u get from a network is a base url
example: network.com/offer?aff_id=1…
most beginners just paste this link and use it across every account
which means they have zero way to tell which post, which account, which hook actually generated the conversions
sub-ids let u add custom tracking parameters to ur link
example: network.com/offer?aff_id=1…
now every click and conversion that comes through that link is tagged with the exact source
heres why this changes everything
without sub-ids
"i made $4k this month from 20 accounts"
ok which 20 accounts
no idea
with sub-ids
"i made $4k this month and 73% of it came from 4 specific accounts using 2 specific hook structures, the other 16 accounts made me a combined $1k"
now u can do something with that information
the operator without sub-ids treats all 20 accounts equally
posts the same volume on each
spends equal time managing them all
gets the same average results forever
the operator with sub-ids identifies the top 4 accounts
doubles posting frequency on those
gives them the best new hooks first
drops the bottom 10 accounts and replaces them with new ones
same total effort
same total volume
2x revenue within 30 days
the deeper move
once u have hook-level sub-ids, u can identify which specific hook STRUCTURES print
not which hooks
which structures
u might discover that any hook starting with "as a former [job] i can tell u" outperforms any hook starting with "5 things i learned at [store]" by 4x EPC
now u stop writing the second style entirely
ur content production gets sharper every single week
sub-ids take 10 minutes to set up
they live in the affiliate link itself
ur tracker reads them automatically
beginners ignore them because they dont run trackers
which means their entire business is a black box
ur top 3 accounts probably make 60% of ur revenue and u dont even know which ones they are
set up sub-ids this week and that changes

i made the same advertiser pay me 3 times for the same conversion last month
this is called network stacking and almost no operator at the beginner level knows its possible
heres how the affiliate ecosystem actually works
advertisers dont work with affiliates directly
they work with networks
networks have hundreds or thousands of affiliates running their offers
what most beginners dont realize is that big advertisers list the SAME offer across MULTIPLE networks at the same time
walmart, sephora, target, every major brand
their gift card offers run simultaneously on 5+ different affiliate networks
each network has different payout rates for the same offer
each network has different scrub policies
each network has different cookie windows
each network has different fraud detection
if ur running on ONE network ur missing 80% of ur potential revenue
heres what stacking looks like
i have accounts on 6 different networks
all of them carry the same walmart gift card offer
the public payouts range from $3.20 to $5.80 per conversion
same offer, same advertiser, same conversion flow, 80% payout variance
my landing page has a smart redirect script that checks which network has the highest current payout and routes the click there
if network A's payout drops or it starts scrubbing aggressively, traffic automatically shifts to network B
i never lose a conversion to a payout cut
second move that doubles this
different networks have different relationships with the same advertiser
some networks negotiate higher rates because they send more traffic
some networks negotiate longer cookie windows
some networks have direct postback access while others dont
the operator running on the right network for the right offer makes 2-3x more revenue than the operator running the same offer on the wrong network
how to find out which networks have the best rate on a specific advertiser
step 1
sign up to 4-5 reputable networks (theres maybe 8 worth using)
step 2
search each one for ur target advertiser
step 3
compare the public payout rates
step 4
ask each AM what their network-wide EPC is on that offer
step 5
run a 200 click test on each
step 6
all ur traffic goes to the winner
beginners pick one network at signup and stay there for 2 years
they think loyalty matters
the network does not have the same loyalty to them
the operators printing run 3-6 networks per offer and let the data decide where the traffic goes

the best posting time isnt peak hours
it took me almost a year to figure this out
every guru tells u to post when ur audience is most active
8pm, 9pm, weekend evenings
theyre wrong about this
posting at peak hours puts u in maximum competition with every other affiliate, every viral creator, every brand running ads
ur fighting for distribution against the entire platform
heres what im doing instead and why it prints
4 to 7am posts consistently outperform 8 to 10pm posts on the same content with the same hooks
the reason isnt about views
its about audience mental state
think about who scrolls tiktok at 6am
people on the train commuting
people in bed scrolling before they get up
people on the toilet
hourly workers who have to leave for work soon
parents who got up before their kids
every single one of those people is in a passive consumption state
their brain is half asleep
their guard is down
their dopamine receptors are looking for something to grab
this is the ideal state for an affiliate offer to land
a gift card slideshow that promises money for filling out a form hits a 6am scroller way harder than an 8pm scroller
the 8pm scroller is alert
theyve had coffee, theyre comparing options
theyve seen 20 of these slideshows tonight
they scroll past
the 6am scroller saves the post, types in the domain, and completes the offer before their second cup of coffee
heres the data from my own accounts
morning posts (4am-7am): average $0.16 EPC
peak posts (7pm-10pm): average $0.09 EPC
same content
same accounts
same offers
80% more revenue from the unsexy time slot
second thing nobody tells u
morning posts get less competition for algorithmic distribution
the platform has fewer posts to push during those hours
ur content gets pushed harder by default
i post the bulk of my content between 5 and 7am now
the operators i know printing $20k+ months do the same
nobody talks about this because it sounds boring
boring prints money
loud doesnt

theres an entire layer of affiliate offers u cannot see on any public dashboard
theyre called whitelist offers and they pay 2 to 3x the public rates on the exact same advertisers
heres how it actually works
every affiliate network has 3 categories of offers
PUBLIC OFFERS
what u see when u log in
visible to every affiliate on the network
public payout rates
saturated with competition
INVITE OFFERS
visible only to affiliates who pass a quality check
shown after u send 200+ conversions on public offers with under 12% scrub rate
payouts 15-25% higher than public
WHITELIST OFFERS
do not exist on any dashboard
not searchable
not visible
the only way to find out about them is through a direct message from ur affiliate manager
payouts 2-3x higher than public on the same advertiser
these exist because advertisers have premium budgets they only release to affiliates the network personally vouches for
a public walmart gift card offer might pay $4 per conversion
the whitelist version of the same advertiser pays $9-12 per conversion
same offer
same flow
same audience
3x the money
heres how u get on the whitelist
step 1
hit 500+ conversions in a single month with under 10% scrub rate
this is the unofficial threshold most networks use
step 2
message ur AM with this exact framing
"ive been running [offer name] consistently, are there any private campaigns from this advertiser i could test"
dont ask for "better offers"
dont ask for "higher payouts"
ask specifically about private campaigns from the SAME advertiser ur already running
this signals u know whitelist offers exist
it signals ur not a random affiliate fishing for a payout bump
AMs respond to this completely differently than generic asks
step 3
if they offer u a whitelist test, run 100 conversions immediately
hit the metrics they want
the offer becomes permanent on ur account
most affiliates never ask because they dont know whitelist offers exist
they think the dashboard shows everything
it doesnt
the dashboard shows the leftover offers nobody premium is touching
the real money lives in the layer above
and the only password is asking for it correctly

ur affiliate network is sitting on conversions u earned and never paying u for them
its called the orphan conversion problem and its the most expensive thing in this business that beginners don't know exists
heres what actually happens
someone clicks ur tiktok link on a tuesday at 11pm
they look at the offer
they get distracted
they close the tab
4 days later they remember and complete the offer from scratch
that conversion is yours
u drove the click
u set the journey in motion
but if u dont have postback urls set up properly, the network has zero way to attribute that conversion back to u
so they keep the money
the advertiser still paid them
they just dont pay u
most networks have a 7 to 30 day cookie window on offers
which means anyone who clicks ur link could convert up to a month later and still belong to u
beginners think a conversion happens in real time
the data says 15-25% of conversions happen between 24 hours and 7 days after the initial click
if u dont have postbacks set up, ur losing roughly 1 in 5 dollars u actually earn
heres the fix
every affiliate network has a section called "postback url" or "s2s tracking"
its usually buried in account settings
u plug in a webhook url from ur tracker (voluum, redtrack, binom, even bemob has a free tier)
when a conversion fires the network pings ur tracker with the conversion data
ur tracker matches it to the original click via sub-id
the orphan conversion gets recovered
5 minutes of setup
recovers thousands of dollars over the lifetime of ur operation
most beginners skip this because they dont run trackers
which means their data is lying to them every single day
the operators printing know this
its why their reported revenue is 20% higher than urs on the same traffic
ur leaving money on the table u didnt even know existed

a student of mine hit a $5,000 day this week. hes been doing this for a month
before anyone asks, no thats not normal. heres what normal looks like and why days like this happen anyway:
the realistic curve is $0-50/day in weeks 1-2, $50-200/day by week 6. thats what most people should expect and plan around
but revenue in this game is lumpy, not linear
fewer than 1% of posts go viral. when one does, a single slideshow can clear $2,000-$10,000+ on its own. some posts have done $20k in a week. you cant schedule it. all you can do is post enough volume that you give yourself a shot at it every single day
thats what he did right. he didnt find a magic hook in week 1. he posted through the dead weeks, kept his accounts warm, and when a post finally took off his funnel was already built to catch it
the $5k day was bought with 4 weeks of $40 days
most people quit during the $40 days. he didnt. thats the whole difference
volume gives you chances. discipline keeps you taking them
