@weatheire1 It's terrible we have to think this way now, isn't it? A friend of mine was just along the seafront for a walk and all the water is gone. So we were wondering had we been fooled

@olliemagic @WeatherofDublin Did you take this? and what time was it? A friend has just been down that way and said there's no water there at all currently. I'm just curious about how fast it might have drained

Had a pretty convincing scam call from a lady pretending to be from my mobile operator. Said there was a Jan promotion of 20% off — did I want in? And if so, I’d get a six digit code texted to me. Which immediately came (from my real operator’s SMS)… (—> cont’d)

I mostly love the Parliament St changes but this just seems really dumb - an accident waiting to happen - to use street furniture to channel pedestrians into bikes 🤷🏼‍♀️ @DubCityCouncil

For the first time (ever? in decades?), a leader of the State planning body sat down with a journalist. “I think an awful lot of the criticism is based upon knowledge of our organisation three years ago,” says An Coimisiún Pleanála's new CEO. thecurrency.news/articles/20930…

Got referred for an *urgent* MRI on my shoulder last week. Just got the call there and if I want to get it on my medical card they can give me an appointment in March. If I want to pay I can have one Thursday, Friday or over the weekend all under the same medical group. The joys of Irish healthcare, I can either pay €310 for a scan, or wait another 5-6 months in pain and struggling to even dress myself 🤦‍♀️

This is very exciting news for everyone at @thecurrency. I'm really looking forward to having another great mentor with vast experience - and our readers will undoubtedly benefit from having another storyteller on board to bring them into the heart of issues affecting Ireland.

Mariam Dagga, killed by Israel today, was an incredibly talented photographer. She relentlessly and courageously documented the genocide. I'm going to share some of her images. Graphic content included.
