We visited Nto Okpo, Essien Udim LGA, one of the beneficiaries of this project and report that this project has not been done. According to the village head, the community has been in darkness for the past 15years. No electricity or solar streetlights. He lamented how this has negatively impacted residents, stressing how much this provision is needed. We implore @FmardNg, the implementing agency to provide the public with details of how funds disbursed to this project was used.
Tracka@TrackaNG

In Aug 2025, N755m was paid to RAYOZ DIGIT SERVICES LTD ABUJA for the Emergency Construction and Installation of Solar Street Light Amenities in Rural Areas of Ikot Akai, Nto Okpo, Inen & Nkari Communities, Akwa Ibom state. We tracked this project at Ikot Akai and report that less than 20 solar street lights were installed along the major road that connects the community to neighboring areas and one unit in front of the village head's house. However apart from that, none were installed on the streets of the community. The village head mentioned that it gets dangerous in the community at night, so there's a need for additional units of streetlights to be installed within the community. We call on @FmardNg, the implementing agency to facilitate this for the community. We will keep tracking to ensure quality work is done in other communities.

That’s exactly the question we asked. We conducted a nationwide review of official state websites to see where LGA budgets are published. What we found: • 10 states publish LGA budgets • 6 states publish partial information • 20 states publish nothing at all Transparency at the closest tier of government is still very limited. More details in our full report soon. #GetInvolved #AskQuestions
omotayo@AskOlotuomotayo

@BudgITng If federal & state budgets are (somewhat) online, why are local govt budgets treated like state secrets? In many states, you can't find them anywhere digitally. Is this deliberate opacity or just negligence? Citizens deserve to know how our money is planned & spent! 🔥

@__MUHSEEN__ I was in high school when Mrs Folorunsho, my English teacher spoke to me with serious conviction that I will one day convert or marry a Christian. She was so sure like she saw it in her dream. Alhamdulillahi.

In primary school They knew me as Igbo and Muslim We had these two Igbo teachers who always try to make me feel less for being a child who followed my father's religion Imagine trying to convince a primary school child that what he is doing which is what he met his parents doing is wrong using both wisdom and psychological bullying But Alhamdulillah for those challenges. It made me strong in faith. As I grew up, once I say my Muslim name and put Enugu as my state of origin, wahala go start. After some time of feeling bad, I accepted the challenge and developed thick skin to the regular probing/condescending remarks Those who have had contact with me started avoiding challenging me. They started accepting me for who I have grown to be Just yesterday, Dorcas, an Igbo lady was asking how come I am Igbo and Yahya, I told her the same reason why she is Igbo and Dorcas. Case closed
Abbas@Abbas_bnSanusi

From my primary school days, I have always been unapologetic about being a Muslim. I ran into problems with my teachers because I would never close my eyes for prayers, as they always wanted us to do. I hated most of my primary school teachers and they hated me too, no qualms.

I read a quote that said, “You can be the prettiest shade of green, but you’ll never be enough for someone whose favorite color is blue,” and it really stuck with me.

Tunde Onakoya is a guy that I respect very much because of the great things he has done for himself and society, and I believe that he is well within his rights to decide not to employ someone whose values do not align with his. However, to avoid situations like this is why I work very hard so that my daily bread is not in the hands of somebody who would check my tweets for things they disagree with and deny me an opportunity. I also find it amusing that people try to take away your freedom of expression by saying things like ‘watch what you tweet, you don’t know who will help you tomorrow’. They make this statement because they believe that they will always be in a superior position. How sure are you that won’t be the one at my gate tomorrow, plate in hand, begging to be fed? Nobody knows at whose mercy they’ll be in the future. Even if you will not give someone an opportunity because you don’t like their tweets, you don’t have to make it public, because other people who will help you tomorrow are also watching your actions now. You could have just ignored him and selected whoever you deem fit for the role. That said, that guy should also do some introspection, there are some words that you should never use here on X, especially if you intend to beg people for jobs on the same platform. Drag me if you must, I have spoken my mind.

Baďdy posted an edited tweet of peruzzi having affaírs with Chioma, same Davido still supported his sųrgery, but Tunde Onakoya denied a guy lifetime opportunity because of a ħarmłess comment, former pøør people be doing the most.

@Its_Felip @IbrahimBurour It's a teachers training program more like PGDE and NCE. I am not sure you have any of this, but if you do the program is equivalent to them and that might be the reason for the rejection.

@IbrahimBurour @IbrahimBurour I got rejected by one of the schools I applied to. Their reason for the rejection was that I have so many years of teaching experience. My question now is this, is the programme for only those with little or no teaching experience?

I’m a beneficiary of the UK teacher training bursary, which offers funding of up to £29,000 to support graduates training to become teachers in England. This programme will earn me a PGCE with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) : a teaching qualification that is widely recognised internationally, enabling holders to teach abroad or progress into teacher training, mentoring, and educational leadership roles. For me, this bursary has been a real game-changer. It has made it possible to train professionally, gain rigorous classroom experience, and upskill without the usual financial burden. If you’re considering teaching and wondering how to fund your training, this is an opportunity worth exploring. 👉 Find out more and apply here: getintoteaching.education.gov.uk Teaching is not just a career, it’s a public service with lasting impact. #GetIntoTeaching #TeacherTraining #PGCE #QTS #TeachingBursary #EducationCareers @taadelodun @peng_writer

@IbrahimBurour Stop lying to People for click bait. To Qualify for UK 🇬🇧 Bursary or Student Finance you need to have Nationality Status: (e.g) # Indefinite Leave to Remain/Permanent Residence. # Naturalisation/Citizenship # Or under Refugee Status. You can't if you are just Nigerian
