Diary of an Afro Monk sets are now me pulling out old Ableton project files that would have 300-500+ tracks for a giving time period. I'd label them by season and year. Goes way back to 2012… The sets are essentially revisits to different styles and period of times

I've taken a break from the radio show since my car is messed up, and leaving out of the country for awhile. When I get back I'll be alternating every week a Chill Paradise all vinyl set and Diary of an Afro Monk ableton set. Weekly mixes grind again 😅

Loading old projects from Ableton and finding heat from 10+ years ago from cats like @minnesotaBASS @gjonesbass @sugarpill @Stephan_Jacobs Man that 2011-2013 era of glitch-hop and crunk was a golden age. It’ll be fun to bring this back for Diary of an Afro Monk sets…

I heard rumors of them coming but you never know. It’s official, MASSIVE ATTACK! OMG so hyped to see them. Now if to only get to see Portishead, I can die happy

It has taken six months to hopefully finalize what to scale next formally. There could be even more on the horizon. It’s focus time. My mindset is so different this time around.

Books/podcast have brought these moments of awe, enlightenment, knowledge, etc… despite the thirst for these feels it’s not the moments which unlock happiness which we seek. It’s the surrender to experience life that gives us these feels. Its not teachings but experience of them

Welp, that was fun as heck

So tired of being heartbroken.

I was in Green Bay, WI, for a week. Experiencing different lifestyles is one of life's most humbling and rewarding things. Seeing the world is one of the greatest things to do and helps give contrast to your usual comfort zone.

Three out of the four weekends at the club it’s been Drum & Bass playing all night. The year is 2024 🤯

I still wonder how I’ve ended up at the club for four weekends in a row now. It has been chill still running into homies every time. It’s more a social interaction thing vs a music thing at this age 😅

It's been interesting going out to hear music at a club. Especially a club that's predominantly bass music. Dope seeing old friends, but it’s quite the contrast to the music I've been listening to.

@OptimizeSmart is there a way to filter by page path + query and show purchase data? It seems to zero out unless using a funnel report which seems weird that it's the only way.

Life is weird. I did something I'll probably regret today, but I've been super in the feels lately. It sucks when you take a step backward, but it helps the sorrow.

It is absolutely wild that you can just get on a dating app and shoot your shots at complete strangers from your phone for free. You don't have to do it in person at all.
