@sinnet3000 A reminder that Microsoft / Windows is at fault here as well, not just Crowdstrike. Giving antivirus enough privileges to crash the OS always carries this risk. A more resilient OS does not let this happen. This would not happen at a Linux (or would be much harder to do)

@davkean Another situation is if a reference fails to resolve (CS0006 - Metadatafile not found) the same project can also produce hundreds of errors due to the missing dependency (e.g. type not found). Would be great if the error list could somehow emphasise the reference resolution issue

@davkean If you have Project B referencing Project A, I've often come across one error in project A leading to hundreds of knock on errors in Project B. Would be great if the error list could take account of the project build order / graph.

Have you ever run into issues where if the order in which the errors were show in the Error List was better, it would have been easier to find the root cause? If so, can you show me some examples.

@Mobilescouk sent a support request last week and still haven’t heard back. Order was cancelled due to credit check fail, but @VodafoneUK have no record of receiving an order.

The fact that @teamcity's build agent, a build platform, still doesn't have a silent install baffles my mind. HOW? Of all the places not to understand a silent install is needed is @jetbrains not getting it?

Most dashboard monitoring walls seem to be just eye candy for managers. If you don't know of a problem unless it shows up on those ... you might have a monitoring data flow problem :-)

Whenever I see a company hyper-focused on optimizing their infrastructure pennies, I wonder how many dollars are being missed elsewhere in the pipeline. 📜 Here's a thread of one example of what I mean by this.

@DellCares @DellUK Playing cities skylines on saturday. FPS started to drop, eventually dropping to sub 1 fps. After a few mins, machine turned off with a pop & small amount of smoke and wouldn’t turn on again.
