no bc i really think so much about the fact that if she hadn’t found whitaker and taken him in, she would’ve kept living on her own, working at a place where she feels isolated and possibly villainized after everything with langdon, and would’ve had to handle that all alone

i don’t think santos truly expects him to tell everyone in the hospital btw. to me she’s actually asking him to stay away from her and drop the good mentor act.

There's a scene coming up in the S2 finale of The Pitt where I thought "Do people ship (these two characters)? Because if they do, they're going to go insane." And it turns out some people do in fact ship these two characters.
