ANNOUNCEMENT: After the Pause will publish one final issue in March 2022 and then will be shutting down. The submission deadline for our final issue is January 31st at midnight EST. Anything received after the deadline will not be considered for publication. A thread follows.

7) But for now, send in your best work by January 31st. Our final issue is going to be something special. And again, thank you to everyone who has played a role in After the Pause’s success. You made it all meaningful.

6) Rest assured the site will remain live along with all the brilliant work in our past issues. Those issues will be archived on our site as long as the internet exists. And who knows, maybe After the Pause will someday publish again. I won’t rule it out entirely.
