No offence to my American friends but so many Americans on here seem to forget that other people exist outside of America. I keep seeing Americans complaining about the wildfire smoke and being like “oh, it’s just Canada.” Um?? People live here you know… fireman are out there fighting over 100 wildfires that are destroying millions of acres of land not to mention homes and communities.
It’s like when America has a crisis, Canadians show support but then when Canada has a crisis, Americans laugh and complain if it affects them in any way. Its gross.
And maybe this isn’t true overall but it’s at least what I’ve seen a lot of and it’s annoying me today.

@shagbark_hick we’ve been having the same issue in MN every summer the past 5-10 years. almost all of the smoke is from Canada, but now the boundary waters wilderness is on fire because a controlled burn picked up again. seems like clockwork in july-aug. we get a constant haze

In NNY we have similar forests and basically do not get large fires. And until recently, I don't EVER remember seeing wildfire smoke here. Now it's every year?
