This is purpleheart. One of the hardest, densest woods on earth. We're CNC milling it into off-grid Meshtastic node enclosures. No plastic. No factory. Straight from the Canje River.

Nice to see you, @RIHouseofReps. Let's get working on sensible Bitcoin & Blockchain legislation.
Rhode Island House of Representatives@RIHouseofReps

@RICurrent: Private keys are a type of credential used in cryptography to protect digital communications, identities, accounts, and assets like bitcoin wallets or other cryptocurrency holdings. Bill H7957, led by Woonsocket Democratic Rep. Stephen Casey, would preclude courts and government agencies from forcing someone to hand over a private key tied to these digital properties. “It’s more like your private property,” Casey said in a phone interview Monday about what the bill seeks to protect. “Somebody confiscates your cell phone and you have all your digital assets on there. They shouldn’t have access to that without really due process.” Full story: rhodeislandcurrent.com/2026/03/09/law…

In Rhode Island, we’re fighting for a de minimis exemption, too. Bitcoin is money.
Marty Bent@MartyBent

Hearing that despite all the efforts and lobbying for bitcoin de minimis tax exemption, it’s none other than @coinbase trying to nuke it behind the scenes to push stablecoins only. Apparently they are telling legislators that, “No one is using bitcoin as money. A de-minimis exemption for bitcoin is a hand out that will be DOA.”

The overriding design factor for my geothermal greenhouse was to minimize air volume. Because you need to heat and cool that air. This property is offgrid, so energy at a premium. It’s built long and skinny, sunk into earth, with enough headspace for 12ft trees in the center.

I disagree. TradFi already has controlled and censored and reversible systems. The issuers and users who want those feature can stay there. Being as predictable (and ruthless) as gravity is the only unique value prop of real crypto. Without it, there’s no point. Use a database.
Austin Campbell@austincampbell

0/ This view is utopian, idealistic, and aligned with the cypherpunk mandate of the original crypto believers. It will also be incredibly toxic for real world asset issuers beyond the point of stablecoins.

I think the de minimus gain for bitcoin should be to DCA out if bitcoin at $1600 per month. My reasoning? It is the average spend per month for a family of 4 for groceries. Nothing crazy.
