One of the scenes I saw #BTS was when Aderonke was panicking because her son was trying to climb up to get snacks (or something) for his sister. That boy looked about 8–10 years old, why can’t he safely reach heights in his own house without fear of falling? This is one of the parenting flaws I notice in many rich or average Nigerian homes. Their children are almost useless because there is always domestic help available to do everything for them. It’s sickening.

Abia Daily@myabiadaily·
Hello everyone, this Vanguard report mentions that this issue primarily affects residents of Umuahia. Please note that Umuahia and environs are still under Enugu Electricity Distribution Company (EEDC), which used to serve the entirety of Abia, Anambra, Imo, Enugu, and Ebonyi until Aba and 8 other LGAs were taken away from them and put under Geometric. Gov. Alex Otti has successfully negotiated to take away Umuahia and the remaining LGAs so that they can equally be connected with the rest of Abia already in the Geometric Network while expanding the generating capacity of GPal and Aba Power. Nobody in Aba and the 8 other LGAs currently enjoying stable power is complaining about the cost because there’s been aggressive mass metering. You pay for what you consume. The state is currently in the process of paying off EEDC so that the entire state will be taken off the National grid (which EEDC is part of) that bills so much while providing little power. Fifth columnists, please take note.

Are we tired of calling for justice for Ochanya? This is what we Nigerian youths lack: continuity, unity, and courage. Our leaders have seen this, so they always give us temporary solutions because they know we will forget about it when another matter arises (distraction). Look at the BRT matter: it has died down and people are still struggling to enter BRT buses while the BRT lady has been taking Uber to work because some people paid for a year of free service for her. We sought justice in 2018 for Ochanya and left it halfway. We sought justice in 2025 for Ochanya and left it halfway. A few days ago we were all shouting for justice for Ochanya because Winifred tweeted and that aggravated our hatred for their family. Does that mean if Winifred didn’t tweet we wouldn’t seek justice? Does that mean everything will die down like that? Everyone has touched grass now. Anyway, I hope the family of Ochanya will accept that there is no justice in this country. If you die in this God-forsaken country, then you are gone and forgotten. Even our president said “There is nothing he can offer them, not even millions, but he will console them and assure them that the experience will not repeat itself.” #justiceforochanya #justiceforochanya #justiceforochanya #justiceforochanya #justiceforochanya #justiceforochanya

Day8 of calling on the Benue Police Command. Everyone, please tag the Benue State Police Command and Benue State government officials so they can help us apprehend these criminals 🙏🙏 Is the Benue State Police trying to let this case die down again? Why are they not responding, releasing an official statement, and putting up wanted posters for these criminals? Let’s not stop asking for justice 🙏🙏 Rip Ochanya @benuestategovt @BenuePoliceNG @PoliceNG #justiceforochanya #justiceforochanya #justiceforochanya #justiceforochanya #justiceforochanya #justiceforochanya

Okay, man, i sometimes forget how gruesome his death was
Adam | Faithful Messenger@Adam_FaithfulM

In 1986, the American Medical Association published an article titled "The Physical Death of Jesus Christ". It details the entire process of Jesus' trial to His death on the cross. In Luke 22, before Jesus is arrested, it is written that He was in great distress & sweating blood. Although rare, it is recognized as Hematidrosis, a condition caused by high levels of stress. At the time, the crucifixion was considered the worst death for the worst of criminals. But this is not all Jesus faced. He endured whipping so severe that it tore the flesh from His body. He was beaten so horribly that His face was torn & His beard ripped. A crown of thorns, 2-3 inches long cut deeply into His scalp. The leather whip used to flog Him had tiny iron balls & sharp bones. The balls caused internal injuries while the sharp bones ripped open His flesh. His skeletal muscles, veins, & bowels are exposed, causing major blood loss. Most men do not survive this kind of torture. After Jesus was severely flogged, He was forced to carry His cross while people mocked & spat on Him. Crucifixion was a process meant to instill excruciating pain, creating a slow & agonizing death. Nails as long as 8 inches were driven into Jesus' wrists & feet. The Roman soldiers knew the tendons in the wrists would tear & break, forcing Jesus to use His back muscles to support Himself to breathe. Imagine the struggle, the pain, the courage...Jesus endured this reality for 3 hours! The Gospel of John writes that after Jesus' death, a Roman soldier pierced His side with a spear & blood & water came out. Scientists explain that from hypovolemic shock, the rapid heart rate causes fluid to gather in the sack around the lungs & heart. The accumulation of fluid in the membrane around the heart is called a Pericardial effusion & the lungs is called a pleural effusion. To the world, Christianity is as foolish as it can get. They believe it's for the weak. But when you are confronted by the reality of the cross, it's clearly not a pretty sight. It is brutal & horrific. This is the weight Jesus carried. The weight of the sins of the world, all so that we can live. God's wrath is fully satisfied in Jesus. This is what it took. Repent & believe! Jesus is “God among us” in the flesh. Jesus is our Savior. Jesus loves you so much that He went through this spiritual and physical punishment for your sins and mine. Jesus is the LORD, Almighty God, Everlasting Father. Thank You, Jesus.

An imam ordered the killing of a preacher in Nigeria. Eunice Olawale was a deaconess at the Redeemed Christian Church of God in Kubwa, Abuja. She was a mother of seven children. Every single morning at 5am, before her family woke up, she would walk out into the dark streets of Abuja with a megaphone and a Bible to preach. Nigerians call it "morning cry." Weeks before she died, she came home and told her husband that men from a nearby mosque were unhappy with her preaching. Her husband warned her to be careful. She went back out the next morning anyway. On July 9, 2016, she left the house at 5am as usual. By 5:30am, neighbours heard her voice fade mid-sentence. Then they heard her screaming "Blood of Jesus" repeatedly. When they found her, she was lying in a pool of blood on the street with stab wounds to her stomach and cuts to her neck. Her Bible was beside her. Her megaphone was beside her. Her phone was beside her. They took nothing. The only intention was to kill her. Her husband drove to the police station with two of his children and at the gate he saw a pickup van leaving with his wife's lifeless body in the back. Eight people were arrested. Six were released immediately. Five months later, police had not named a single suspect publicly. The local Imam admitted he sent young men to chase her away from the street but denied telling them to kill her. Nobody was ever charged. Nobody was ever tried. Nobody was ever convicted. Two years after her murder, her family was still publicly begging for answers. A woman killed in broad daylight with her Bible in her hand, and her killers are still free. 💔 🇳🇬
