Shawn asked (essentially) what’s the point of striving for holiness in this life if any wicked man can receive eternal life by simply asking for forgiveness at the point of death after living an evil life. Wes answered by laying the foundation that Jesus is the only God who remains holy while still identifying with our weaknesses - an incredible choice for where to guide the conversation. It’s a powerful episode.

This was the memory verse we recited at the beginning of every Evangelism 101 class with Dr. Wheeler in my first semester at Liberty 15 years ago. It’s been my favorite verse ever since!

I set myself a monastic challenge this week (with good reason) to not dive above the posted speed limit - for 7 days. Let me tell you what an incredible life hack this is. Everything is calmer and less stressful. I don’t care if people tailgate or pass me, and if we’re 3 minutes later to our destination - 🤷‍♂️ who cares? This is honestly a huge discovery

We just got a five minute story about Starbucks charged her $.80 per pump for everything extra she added on her drink yesterday, even though Google says they aren’t supposed to if it’s already a flavored drink. Also she had to add sugar too it when she got home because they never add enough
