@akhileshb95 The surge in NRI investments in Mangalore's real estate sector has undeniably impacted property affordability for local residents. Introducing a well-structured, revolutionary tax could be a strategic move to regulate this trend.

This is something we need in Mangalore. Insanely high apartment prices because most are investment properties. Allow one self occupied apartment and tax the next at 80% on rental income.

Some time back, we shared that we were testing our platform. Here's a short compilation from our recent road demo.(Please excuse the raw footage and background, we shot this ourselves at a nearby location just to capture the moment.) Seeing months work turn into a moving, functioning machine hits different. The first runs were pure satisfaction - the whole team had that grin you can't hide, like kids finally sitting in their favourite supercar. This phase taught us plenty. Those lessons are already shaping our next prototype. We'll start work on it soon. Goal is clear: make it faster, stronger, more efficient, and cost-efficient in every way that counts. Big shoutout to my co-founder @aggukarkera, who drove the entire demo like a pro. calm, precise, pushing the machine just right. His confidence let the rest of us focus on the tech. None of this happens without the team. From marathon build sessions to constant iteration and debugging, it's been a true collective effort. Grateful to build with people this committed and capable. This current platform isn't done , it becomes our ongoing testbed for validating what's next coming next. From basement prototype to functional road demo, the journey's been intense. But we're just getting started on pushing the boundaries of what a micro-factory-built EV can achieve. Stay tuned. @startupindia @Startup_Kar @GoI_MeitY @itssiliconbeach @TiEMangaluru @fdotinc @Rainmatterin

Just wrapped up an incredible showcase of our modular EV platform at Coastal Startup Fest 2026 by @AicNitte at Fiza byNexus Mall, Mangalore. What surprised us most , people didn’t just look, they started asking where the showroom is, pricing, and when they can book. We had to remind them it’s still a prototype XD Also saw strong interest from off-road enthusiasts wanting to use the electric pickup for trails, and some were even interested in the platform itself. That validated our platform-first approach. Best moment was telling people this was built in Mangalore The reactions made all the late nights worth it. Big thanks to our team @aggukarkera. We keep building. 🚀 @itssiliconbeach @startupindia @TiEMangaluru @TiEGlobal @akhileshb95 @rohithbhat @TuluBuildFund @fdotinc @Rainmatterin @nikhilkamathcio @Nithin0dha @nitin_gadkari @Startup_Kar @makeinindia #EVIndia #EVStartup #MakeInIndia #StartupIndia #ElectricVehicles #Mangaluru #CoastalStartupFest2026

Over last couple of weeks we were working on finishing our Modular EV platform. Yesterday we test drove it and it was crazy amazing . Thanks to the efforts of all the people at Singularity automobiles. Over next couple of weeks will be working on further fine-tuning the platform and check its performance. @aggukarkera @TiEMangaluru @itssiliconbeach @fdotinc @rohithbhat

@akhileshb95 I was there too! Visiting Chittorgarh was an incredible experience. The view from the fort, the rich history, and the architecture were absolutely breathtaking. Such an unforgettable trip!

Last year in Udaipur, I told a taxi driver I wanted to see a specific fort. What I meant was Mehrangarh (didn’t know the name then). My description: “Woh kila jo sheher ke paas hai aur poore ek pahad par bana hai.” He took us to Chittorgarh instead. Zero regrets, what an absolute beauty and historical treasure!

@akhileshb95 Absolutely! EVs excel in both short and long-distance travel. For daily commutes, they offer low running costs, quiet rides, and hassle-free charging. On longer trips, they eliminate fuel queues, provide fast-charging convenience, and are significantly cheaper to operate.

Late nights at Marine Drive remind you how a city can create spaces that make you pause and think. Would love to see something like this in Mangalore, a coastal promenade where you can watch the skyline grow and dream a little

Progress update, didn't post last week as it was mostly clean up, so posting what we did last 2 weeks. We have started with the cleanup and sanding of the molds with @aggukarkera. Most probably will be continuing it until next week as well. Once done off it goes to get fiberglassed. Good thing we bought those gas masks that saved us from a lot of trouble. I really wish i could get those fancy vacuum and air filtration systems. @itssiliconbeach @TiEMangaluru @fdotinc

Had an exciting progress this week, for the first time in a long time we were able to look how our pickup truck would look like. Just finished with rough molds, worked on test fitment this week. Next week will begin on cleaning up and smoothing out the molds. @aggukarkera @itssiliconbeach @TiEMangaluru

This weeks update, just finished with the bonnet and front quarter panel molds along with the bed and rear quarter panels. Was a bit faster progress this time as the last couple of molds we built helped us streamline the process. Will be doing a test fit of all the molds this week and start with refining it to match our vehicle dimensions. @aggukarkera @itssiliconbeach @TiEMangaluru @fdotinc

@akhileshb95 A city where every heartbeat becomes part of a larger rhythm the clatter of the local train, the murmur of street vendors waking the sidewalks, the aroma of cutting chai drifting through busy crossings .Mumbai is a melody that never ends.A symphony of struggle, grace and ambition.

Weekly update on our electric pickup truck build. Just finished the truckbed fender molds. Had to place it vertically as it made it easier to build volume but it was a bit scary as well, as my buddy @aggukarkera had to use a ladder in order to make sure we had even spread, The buck was a bit flimsy as well and was literally hanging from the ceiling using some threads we had lying around ( like literal strings of fate from the ceiling 🤣). Now moving towards passenger compartment and bonnet. @TiEMangaluru @TuluBuildFund @itssiliconbeach @fdotinc
