@bucklleydiaz I prefer stories with a lot of short chapters but I’ll read either. I just feel like one big long story feels overwhelming to me but when it’s split up into 10k chapters that feels more manageable.

Quick question how many words is too much for a chapter? Which one is more preferable 5k chapters or 10 k chapters?

@junebegins I have the opposite problem. Nobody in my real life calls me a nickname (except sometimes my older sister) but I use Kay online because my actual name is pretty unique and I’m not out to everyone in my real life. So when people online call me Kay I’m like “oh wait that’s me” 😂

if you are someone who has gone by a nickname your whole life (like, if your name was william and everybody Always called you will) do you ever just randomly remember that william is your name or is this just my personal experience

Inspired by Anirudh’s instagram story but also by 30 years of having people mispronounce my name or tell me that I’m mispronouncing it. And obviously I know it’s not exactly the same because I’m a white woman in America but the principle remains; pronounce it how they do.

Fun fact: the “correct” way to pronounce someone’s name is however the fuck they told you to pronounce it.

@floatyourboat97 I’m not sure we even know enough about Eddie’s time in Afghanistan to even say what’s canon. Other than the fact that (from my interpretation please correct me if I’m wrong) Eddie and Shanon are already separated in this fic, I truly couldn’t tell you if it was or wasn’t canon.

Quick tip. If you’re planning on writing a fic where Buck keeps hanging out with the stitches and bitches group and actually learns how to knit maybe look up the sweater curse before having him make something for Eddie… just a thought.

@albions1971 Yes! Or he’s at stitches and bitches and someone asks what he’s making and he says “a sweater for Eddie” and they all freak out because based on how much Buck’s mentioned him and they assumed he was Buck’s boyfriend

@agiftfromhildy omfg this could be such a good fic imagine its before they get together and buck hasnt confessed yet but still thinks the sweater curse could doom them and eddie is like what is the big deal !!!
