#ResponsibleAgility tip: the phrase "we do #agile our own way" is usually a sign of something that is very NON-agile. Make sure what you are doing is following agile manifesto values and principles before labeling it "agile your way". Agile done poorly can be harmful not helpful.

#ResponsibleAgility tip: most #agile teams would do well to act on the mantra "Stop starting and start finishing." Too many things in progress is a recipe for being slow and demoralizing to the team. Get things done. Repeat: Get things done. Stop starting - start finishing!

#ResponsibleAgility tip: a "post-mortem" project meeting is not an effective way to retrospect. Think about the meaning of "post-mortem" - after death! That sets a mood! Retrospectives should be done regularly for continuous improvement, not one-time complaining/blaming. #agile

#ResponsibleAgility tip: deciding whether to have an open office, cubicles, individual offices, hybrid or remote for a #agile team - none of that is your biggest problem! Instead focus on increasing the continuous flow of value while respecting the humanity of the individuals.

#ResponsibleAgility tip: just because the internet is ubiquitous doesn't mean #agile teams shouldn't turn off work at the end of the day. Strive for holistic balance where work makes life better and life makes work better. It isn't work first!!! Don't burn out or be bitter. Rest.

#ResponsibleAgility tip: stop trying to eliminate variability. The world is too complex. Instead use #agile to exploit the fact you know variability will happen. Use your ability to respond to change as a tool for competitive advantage. Expect change, don't be surprised by it!

#ResponsibleAgility tip: when a #agile team is struggling it isn't up to leadership to fix the problem. Let the team make decisions on how to fix their own problems. Owning the problem and the solution helps them feel their importance and overall worth.
