@ixfoduap Maybe measure each Pauli component of the Hamiltonian and then adding the expectation values weighted by the coefficients from the expansion of the Hamiltonian.

A question I ask during interviews, curious how twitter answers it: You are given an oracle that can prepare the ground state |psi> of a Hamiltonian H on a quantum computer. How do you best calculate the expectation value <psi|H|psi>?
