in the inside the episode the director for the episode described gwayne as being like an “older brother” figure to daeron which kinda killed me. not an uncle figure? because he’s his uncle? the concept of perceiving your late 30s uncle as your peer.

@samanthatarly so we’d wind up with like alicent being like 35 gwayne 38ish and ormund in his early 40s currently?? which is close enough to the actors ages

@samanthatarly the actors for gwayne and ormund have like a four year age difference and i’d assume four or five would make sense. alicent is 14 in e1 and gwayne is competing in a tourney so he’s older and probably was at least 16/17 then
